What is Viscose?
Viscose is a type of rayon. It's a man-made fiber made from purified cellulose, which usually comes from specially processed wood pulp. Viscose is very similar to cotton and silk. (Cotton is also made of cellulose).
Viscose is soft and absorbent (nearly twice that of cotton), and very comfortable against the skin. Commercially, it is used in everything from fabrics to shirts, trousers, diapers, tissues, knitwear, towels, bed linen, kilts and tartan (obviously), and many other products.
